I must be crazy or a masochist…haven’t decided yet

I’m not sure what possessed me, maybe it was the stress of finally completing and passing Portfolio Prep, dealing with an emotionally detached guy, or going up another jean size (was a 12, then a 14 and now back at 16). My vote is for all three, because Sept 11 2012, I started day 1 of P90X. I’ve worked in the past and had success but none of it really lasted longer than a few months, but this time I’m more determined to make it stick and make it through the 90 days.

After the first day of Chest & Back, I woke up that morning becoming painfully aware of my arms but in a good way, and AB Ripper X made sitting up a challenge but felt every muscle around my core. Day 2 of Plyometrics or jumping training…my legs felt like they were beaten with someone elses legs and if anyone whose done it knows it ain’t no joke lol. I think I pressed pause about 6 or 7 times during the entire workout, even the warm-up had me sweating.

Day 3 was Shoulder & Arms, AB Ripper X, it’s definitely a break from hell the that is plyometrics (my thighs, butt and hip flexors are still sore)  but its not easy either. Two things I realized during this workout: 1). I never knew there were some many different variation curls 2). I love side-tri-rise, which basically works the back of your arms. I didn’t sweat as much as I did the first two days but I can tell I worked them out. I’m looking for to day 4 or today’s workout, Yoga X. I’ll be updating as I go and pics will follow soon as I’m going through this journey.

If anyone knows any good motivation tumblrs feel free to let me know, I’m gonna need them :).
